Family Fun | 4th of July Weekend

| A Maryland July |

We had a great time celebrating the Fourth of July with Family and Friends. We always seem to extend our fourth of July festivities and I love that! We spent a the evening grilling out, eating crabs, watching the horses, talking to the chickens, and enjoying everyones company! The weather was perfect and the food was delicious!

As I followed my little cowgirl, Scarlett, around taking a few pictures before the sun went down, I couldn't help but think how much she has changed just since last Fourth of July when she was 8 months old. This year she was running around, exploring, eating new foods, and being more of a little girl...not a baby. I enjoyed watching her follow everyone she loves around and although I get a little sad about how fast the time goes by, I was excited about the memories we got to make this year.

I bought all sorts of glow in the dark goods, glasses, sparklers, and the little pop rock that you throw on the ground! She loved them and I did too until she threw one right next to my foot and about gave me a heart attack! Along with the fun Fourth of July gadgets, Scarlett also had had fun running around with a bumble bee balloon that Gammie brought for her, She was a happy little girl... until the fireworks started. She loved them last year, even up close. This year...she loved them from a far but was not to crazy about them being so close!

-Sincerely, Jenn. xo
